Hello, and thanks for visiting my website.

I'm a learning specialist in higher education, and passionate about creating learning environments in which all students can thrive and excel. I am also a passionate environmentalist and writer. I have extensive experience of facilitating students to advance their academic writing, and related skills, as well as enjoying writing creatively in my own time.

My core expertise is in disability within HE. I have related interests in accessible assessment and feedback, and local and whole institution approaches to disability inclusion. I have over twenty years of varied experience with disabled students and supporting collaborative inclusion projects.

I have a doctorate (University of Surrey) in English Literature (literary environmental studies), and an MA in Philosophy (Nature Pathway). I have taught, conferenced and published on my research interests, include twenty-first century fiction, environmental literary criticism, and literary and post theory. I also have interdisciplinary interests in environmental philosophy and anthropology.
